All states of the consumer are protected by law throughout the Federal Ministry of lemon, which applies to all consumer products, including automoblile, trucks, motorcycles, recreational vehicles, boats and other consumer products such as computers and household appliances. 3-4 to repair the same problem, or 6 to 8 for the entire product for repair under warranty.
The warranty period of up to four years.

Alabama


Each vehicle primarily for the use and operation on public roads, which will be self-propelled. No mobile homes or other vehicles with a gross weight of 10,000 pounds or more.


3 repair attempts or 30 calendar days out of service.

1 year or 12,000 miles

Alaska


Any land vehicle with four or more wheels that is self-propelled by an engine that is normally used for personal, family or household and must be entered. Does not include a tractor, an agricultural vehicle or a vehicle primarily for use off road is designed.


3 repair attempts or 30 days off.

The warranty period or 1 year.

Arizona


A motor vehicle primarily for transportation of persons or property on public streets identified. Only the chassis of a motor home is covered.


4 repair attempts or 30 calendar days out of service.

Warranty: 2 years or 24,000 miles.

Arkansas


Each self-propelled licensed, purchased or leased and primarily designed to transport persons or property on public streets and highways, but does not include mopeds, motorcycles, equipment life of an RV or vehicles over 10,000 pounds GVW. The £ 10,000 limit does not apply to mobile homes.


An attempt to repair a mistake which could result in serious injury or death or 3 repair attempts for the same defect or 5 repair attempts for separate problems, or 30 calendar days out of the question of service.

2 years or 24,000 miles.

California


A new motor vehicle is used or purchased, primarily intended for personal, family or household. Includes the chassis of motor homes.


2 repair attempts could cause injury to the shortage, death or serious bodily injury or 4 repair attempts or 30 calendar days out of service.

18 months or 18,000 miles.

Colorado


A self-propelled passenger cars, including pickup trucks and vans, designed primarily for travel on public roads and transport more than 10 people. Excludes motor homes and motorcycles.


4 repair attempts or 30 days off.

The warranty period or 1 year.

Connecticut


Passenger and commercial vehicles.


4 repair attempts or 30 calendar days out of service.

2 years or 18,000 miles.

Delaware


Motor vehicles. Do not include motor homes (except housing) or motorcycles.

District
British


All vehicles sold or registered, which is designed to transport people. No buses, motorcycles, recreational vehicles and campers.

Florida


A new vehicle is purchased or leased primarily for personal, family or household. Not included only vehicles on the trails, off-road vehicles, driving trucks over 10,000 pounds gross living facilities of recreational vehicles or motorcycles or mopeds.


3 repair attempts or 30 calendar days out of service.

24 months.

Georgia


Each self-propelled, designed primarily for transporting persons or property on the street that was leased, purchased or registered. Applies to the chassis of motor homes. Do not include motorcycles or trucks with £ 10,000 or more permanent.


An attempt to redress in the braking or steering, or 3 repair attempts or 30 calendar days out of service for other problems.

1 year or 12,000 miles.

Hawaii


A motor vehicle primarily for transportation of persons or property on public streets and highways, the design used primarily for personal, family or household. No mopeds, motorcycles or scooters, or vehicles over ten thousand pounds of gross vehicle weight.


An attempt to repair an error that could result in death or serious injury or 3 repair attempts or 30 days out of the question of service.

Warranty: 2 years or 24,000 miles.

Idaho


A new motor vehicle used for personal use or personal business, family or household. Does not include a motorcycle, tractor, trailer or motor vehicle with a gross vehicle weight over 12,000 pounds.


4 repair attempts or 30 days off.

Warranty: 2 years or 24,000 miles.

Illinois


New cars. Trucks and vans under £ 8000. Campers without a trailer. Excluded are motorcycles.


4 repair attempts or 30 days off.

Indiana


Each self-drive that has a declared gross weight of less than £ 10 000 and is intended primarily for the use and operation on public roads. Does not include conversion vans, RVs, farm machinery, motorcycles, mopeds, snowmobiles or other vehicles, primarily designed for off-road use.


4 repair attempts or 30 days off.

18 months or 18,000 miles.

Iowa


Motor vehicle purchased or leased and primarily for the transportation of persons or property, which was designed in the street and highways, but does not include mopeds, motorcycles, motor homes or vehicles over £ 10 000 of gross vehicle weight.


An attempt to repair an error that can result in death or serious injury or 3 repair attempts or 30 calendar days out of service cause other problems.

2 years or 24,000 miles.

Kansas


A new motor vehicle sold or leased, and is a total weight of 12.000 pounds or less registered. Does not include custom parts for motor vehicles that were added or modified by the manufacturers of the second stage, first stage converters or second stage converters.


4 repair attempts for the same defect or 10 repair attempts or 30 calendar days out of service separate issues.

The warranty period or 1 year.

Kentucky


All vehicles except conversion vans, motor homes, mopeds, motorcycles, agricultural machinery and vehicles over two axles.


4 repair attempts or 30 days out of service.

1 year or 12,000 miles.

Louisiana


All cars under £ 10,000 in homes, motorcycles and vehicles used for commercial purposes.


4 repair attempts or 30 calendar days out of service.

The warranty period or 1 year.

Maine


Each vehicle purchased or leased. No vehicles over 8,000 pounds.


3 repair attempts or 15 days out of service

2 years or 18,000 miles.

Maryland


Every car or truck with a rated capacity of 1 tonne or less.


An attempt to redress in the braking or steering, or 4 repair attempts or 30 calendar days out of service for other problems.

15 months or 15,000 miles. 12 months or 12,000 miles for rental cars.

Massachusetts


All vehicles except all-terrain vehicles, campers, motorcycles and vehicles used for commercial purposes.


3 repair attempts or 15 days off.

1 year or 15,000 miles.

Michigan


Each new car, van or truck, bought it in Michigan for personal or family.


4 repair attempts or 30 days out of service

The warranty period or 1 year.

Minnesota


A new motor vehicle for personal, family or household at least 40 percent of the time used.


An attempt to redress in the braking or steering, or 4 repair attempts or 30 days out of service for other problems.

The warranty period or 2 years.

Mississippi


Vehicles used primarily for personal, family or household. Without off-road vehicles, mopeds, motorcycles. Includes chassis for recreational vehicles.


3 repair attempts or 15 days off.

The warranty period or 1 year.

Missouri


Used for a new motor vehicle primarily for personal, family or household. Do not include commercial vehicles, off-road vehicles, mopeds, motorcycles or recreational vehicles.


4 repair attempts or 30 days off.

Montana


Any vehicle can be driven, including non-residential part of a mobile home, by his own power, primarily for transporting persons or property on the public highway designed. Do not include trucks with a GVWR of 10,000 pounds or more, or motorcycles.

Nebraska


A new motor vehicle normally for personal, family, household or company, without VR.

North Carolina


Each new vehicle other than a caravan, if the vehicle does not have a gross vehicle weight of 10,000 pounds or more. This includes vans, motorcycles and most vans.


4 repair attempts or more than 20 days out of service for a period of 12 months.

North Dakota


Cars and trucks of 10,000 pounds gross vehicle weight or less, normally used for personal, family or household.


3 repair attempts or 30 days off.

The warranty period or 1 year.

Ohio


Passenger cars, light commercial vehicles (not more than one tonne payload and is not used in business), or motorcycle. Also includes the chassis of motor homes.


3 repair attempts or 30 calendar days out of service. 8 repair attempts for different problems. An attempt to condition, which causes death or serious injury to repair.

1 year or 18,000 miles.

Oklahoma


Every motor vehicle must be registered no vehicles over 10 thousand pounds of gross vehicle weight and living facilities of motor homes.


4 repair attempts or 45 days out of service.

Oregon


Used for a new motor vehicle normally used for personal, family or household.


4 repair attempts or 30 days off.

Pennsylvania

Rhode Island

4 repair attempts or 30 calendar days out of service. 2 attempts for security flaws seriously lacking.

2 years or 24,000 miles.

West Virginia


Cars, trucks, vans and motor homes chassis used primarily for personal, family or household.


3 repair attempts or 30 calendar days out of service. A test for a condition that to cause death or serious injury.

The warranty period or 1 year.

Wisconsin


All vehicles, except motorcycles, trailers or for use in combination with a truck or tractor truck.
